The Northeast office space market is constantly changing. A vast majority (60%) of the office buildings are redevelopments that turned functionally obsolete buildings into creative office space. The NE submarket has seen significant development in recent years and can generally accommodate users in the small to mid-range (200 SF – 50,000 SF +).  Some of the main developer/owners include Hillcrest Development, R2 Capital, and Schafer Richardson. Hillcrest redeveloped an old school into high-end creative space at 807 Broadway. They also redeveloped 401 Harding, 1515 NE Central, 1209 Tyler St NE, and many others. R2 currently is undergoing a huge project on Quincy.
